Have you ever thought of writing a letter to your president or maybe to your MP your governor or any person of that class? If you have, what how was the content? What drove you to write the letter? Did you get a reply? I wish I could get a reply. Im so curious.

When we hear that an ordinary person wrote a letter to the president a lot of rhetoric questions come on our minds.

As you imagine of that I will let you know that jaguar and sudiboy wrote a letter to the president through a song called "BARUA KWA RAIS".
The single was released a few months before and its doing well and people love it.

They sing about the poverty that the citizens are going through, corruption, insecurity and many more things. They say that despite all that they love the president.

So this was a song dedicated to the president but not a direct letter.

This is Why Jaguar Told Uhuru Kenyatta That He Will Resign

We all know that jaguar was appointed by the president as the Nacada ambassador. This came as a surprise to many of us since no one thought that such a thing could happen.

If you are a good fun of jaguar or Kenyan musica too, you should be aware that jaguar and president Uhuru are great friends. We have seen the together many times.

Early last week, disagreement and cold war was observed in Nacada leadership where john mututho the Nacada chairman claimed their is corruption in Nacada and went ahead and suspended some workers for investigations to be carried out. This led to a lot of rejection from the other board members saying that mututho didn't follow the correct channel of suspending the workers.

Today jaguar opened up and talked of what is going on in Nacada. He said that there is corruption going on among some of the members and asked the cabinet secretary in charge of security to address the issue. He said that he sent the president a message and told him that if the problem is not investigated within a period of two weeks he will resign. He also said that he dont want to be associated with a board which is accused of being corrupt because doing so he will be letting down the president who appointed him.

Comedian Eric Omondi Lands a New Job

He is one of the greatest and most talented comedian kenya has ever had. Eric omondi who is a comedian and lately has started singing too, today woke up with blessings.

He has been appointed as the Rhino ambassador by the kenya wild life services (KWS), a job that he has accepted.

He posted photos of himself on social media on full KWS uniform ready to exercise in full swing the authorities and powers delegated to him this morning.

It has been reported that poachers are on toes to hunt rhinos and other wildlife animals like elephants. This has reduced the number of rhinos in kenya. Eric has vowed that he will protect the black and white rhinos.

Groove awards were held last saturday at the safaricom kasarani indoor arena. the event was well organised and all went well up to the end. 

As usual there were winners and losers in the game but the most awaited announcement was the post of the male artist of the year where Bahati and willy paul were on the draw. 

Bahati won the title as many kenyans expected.

Bahati won four awards i.e. male artist of the year, video of the year (barua), song of the year (barua) and his songs being the most downloaded as skiza tunes.

Later on Willy paul posted a pic on hi instagram account congratulating those who won.

Even though he conceded defeat, kenyans on social media went on to roast him whatsoever.

Alaine has alot of fun in Kenya. When she performed in Kenya last year alot of people turned up for her concert and I think this is because she has done a song with a Kenya artist wyre.

He is one of the celebrated gospel artist in kenya. A down to earth guy who we have never hear with controversies. 

The “Nitembelee” singer received probably the best news of his life after he obtained a visa to visit the USA following an invite by Talanta Awards USA after winning the Best Songwriter Award 2014 at the recently concluded Talanta Awards – Kenyan chapter.

Benachi has been patient for very long for an award and his big break came when the celebrated awards took place in Kenya in April. He had previously been nominated for various awards with all his songs but it was during the Talanta Awards that he received his first ever accolade for his talent after being recognized as the Best Songwriter.

Seeing how talented and humble Benachi is, Talanta Awards founder, Ms Meggie Waruri, invited him for a series of performances in the US. She speaks of him as, “…the most humble artist she has dealt with; very genuine, a true worshipper, clean record and his reputation is impeccable.”

“I spent time with him and could tell how disciplined an individual he is. His songs have deep substance that goes a long way to define his heart,” added Ms Waruri.

Talanta Awards is the only talent search and mentorship programme that awards based on genuine talent and not popular vote. The programme is also one of its kind in that artistes who have gone through the mentorship of Ms Waruri are given an exposure like no other; from USA tours to high level platforms to showcase their God-given talents.

Benachi is going to the States for the Boston Edition of Talanta talent search slated for July 10th through to 12th.

Meanwhile, the 15 finalists of the Kenyan Edition have recorded a masterpiece and the song is expected to hit the airwaves soon. For some of them, that was their first time in Nairobi and 95% of them had never been into a studio’s recording booth.

Who is Irene Stefani

Venerable Irene Stefani (22 August 1891 - 31 October 1930), born Aurelia Mercede Stefani, was a Roman Catholic Italian nun and a member of the Consolata Missionary Sisters.
She assumed the name "Irene" upon entrance into that order.Stefani was cleared for beatification in 2014 after a miracle found to have been attributed to her intercession was ratified, and she will be beatified on 23 May 2015 in Nyeri.
[1]Biography Aurelia Mercede S was born in 1891 inthe small village of Anfo. Stefani joined the Consolata Missionary Sisters in 1911 and became a professed member of that order in 1914 prior to the beginning of World War I. Upon entering the order, she took the name of "Irene".
That same year, she was sent by Blessed Joseph Allomano to go to Kenya, where she arrived in January 1915.
Stefani served as a nurse in Kenya and became well known and well regarded among the people that she served. This earned her the nickname "Nyaatha", which is a name literally translated as "a person of mercy". In1930, Stefani contracted a disease off of the patients she was treating and died to this disease on 31 October 1930.

Singer Willy Paul speaks out about the allegations that he has negleted his original mother back in mathare

It gas been going around the internet that singer willy Paul has nagleted his biological mother and the lady he says is his mother is not his real mother.Willy Paul has finally spoke about this. This is how he responded.
“I am absolutely shocked at the level that these publications have stooped to. I have and will always take care of my mother!” the star said.
Is it true that she is still at mathare??
“My big brother and I wanted tomove her from that house but she refused. She instead requested that we buy land and build her a house. A venture we have been working on,” Willy continued.
What about the lady you say that she is your mother?
“That woman is my godmother. She is the one who took care of me when I ventured out of my mother’s nest. I have always strived to protect my mother from the limelight, that is why I don’t post pictures of her,” the distressed singer said.

Xenophobic violence in south Africa

It has been a hard time for Africans who own businesses in south Africa and are non citizens. South African citizens have started chasing away non citizens saying that they have taken all their job and so they want them out of their country. This xenophobic incidence has so far left 8 people dead and many more injured. This has really turnished the south african name and even made some musicians who had planned to host shows in other countries to cancel them. We all play and hope that all this will end soon before the south African ecinomy is affected for soo much.

Bahati is a Kenyan musician who does gospel music. Some day before he engaged into some conflict with his close competitor in the music industry Willy Paul.
